Community Planning Town Hall

April 20, 2021 at 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Southern Arizona Jewish community members were invited to attend a town hall on April 20, 2021 at 6:30 to 8:00 pm to learn more about the community planning process and participate in discussions around the outcomes of the findings of the study. Presentations were made by the three working groups and then attendees split into breakout rooms to share their attitudes, suggestions, and insights for the future of Jewish life. The three topics covered were:

  1. Drive Toward a Community-Wide Approach to Jewish Education
  2. Pursue Tzedek and Tikkun Olam Through Community Service, Social Justice, and Social Action
  3. Elevate and Embrace Diverse Approaches to Jewish Life - Spiritual, Cultural, and Values Driven

Prior to the meeting, a data review was held on April 6, 2020. A recording of that meeting can be found here. All materials related to the Jewish community planning process, including newspaper articles, previous presentations, and the working document produced by our consultants, are available online here.

Don't miss out on future town halls! Make sure you are receiving regular updates from the Federation and Foundation.
