Dear Rabbi Arthur R. Oleisky Teen Recognition Award Applicant:

Kol HaKavod (all the honors) on your upcoming journey to Israel.  The Rabbi Arthur R. Oleisky Teen Recognition Award was designed to both support Jewish teens in their decision to participate in an organized teen Israel Experience as well as to recognize excellence in community involvement and leadership.  The award stems from Rabbi Oleisky’s passion for the State of Israel and his commitment to sending Jewish teens to Israel.  The recipient of this year’s award will be presented with $500.00 towards their Israel Experience in the Summer of 2017 or the 2017 March of the Living and recognized publicly at the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona’s Annual Meeting Thursday, May 11 , at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.  The award is open to all Jewish high school students in grades 10 and 11.

The process to determine this year’s recipient consists of an application and personal interview with the awards committee.  Payment is sent directly to the program.  You will be contacted with your interview date and time soon after the application deadline.
